Most event notices are published on the CivicInfo BC website free of charge. All you need to do is contact us with the relevant information and we’ll do the rest.

Using Our On-line Event Registration Service

Since 2002, CivicInfo BC has provided on-line registration services for nearly 200 different events of all sizes. This service is available only to BC municipalities and regional districts, and to related organizations (such as professional associations) that serve local government employees and elected officials.

Our basic service package includes:

• Creation of a customized on-line registration form.
• Creation of a database for storing all registration information.
• Creation of a series of custom delegate tracking reports.
• Registration confirmation by e-mail to each delegate who provides a valid address.
• Manual processing of any registrations that are faxed or mailed.
• Provision of financial reports showing who has paid and details of that payment; total amount collected; and outstanding accounts.
• Real-time credit card processing for VISA, MasterCard and American Express. (Credit card company merchant fees apply.)

Upon completion of your event, CivicInfo BC provides you with a complete breakdown of any funds we collected on your behalf, and the money is sent to you by cheque or by electronic transfer.

The following extra services are available for an additional fee:

• Name tags.
• Personal or partner program registration forms.
• Personalized delegate schedules.
• Provision of meal and reception tickets.
• Online event evaluation and follow-up surveys.
• Changes to a registration form after it has been launched.
• Administration of a fee-based cancellation policy.
