Well Site Feasability Study

City of Duncan

Request for proposals 2017-04

Well Site Feasibility Study

The City of Duncan is seeking the services of a municipal engineering consultant to provide professional services for the Feasibility Study of a new well site that will be incorporated into the existing water distribution system. The CoD currently owns and operates 4 well sites, 2 reservoir and booster sites, and approximately 72km of water distribution system that serves nearly 14,000 residents.  While our existing wells currently are not deficient in capacity, it is prudent of the CoD to investigate locations for viable well sites moving forward.
To that end, CoD has identified a location that has potential to accommodate a new well and is seeking a consultant to determine the feasibility of this location and to prepare a report detailing (among other things) geotechnical and groundwater evaluation, concept drawings, system impact analysis and cost estimate. Visit for more details.
