Emergency Plan Review
Request for Proposals
The District is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified professional consultants, individuals, or corporations, to provide a review of the existing emergency plan and bylaw and to provide recommendations regarding changes to improve program efficiency, including an emergency management plan, procedure manuals and a draft bylaw for consideration.
The Proponent will be responsible to:
- Review the current bylaw and emergency plan
- Consult with the emergency program update committee, plan and lead a stakeholder consultation process to discuss proposed alternatives for change and anticipated effects on the corporation
- Prepare and present draft documentsto the committee forreview and comment
- Present a final summary report to Council, including a draft bylaw, emergency plan(s), and procedure manual for consideration of approval. Such report shall also include consultant recommendations for policies pertaining to emergency management.
The project, including presentation of a final report to Council, is to be completed by March 31, 2021.
