Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technician
The Engineering and Public Works department is responsible for managing nearly $2 billion in built assets and infrastructure. This essential infrastructure delivers key services to the public, including water distribution, wastewater collection, garbage collection, transportation systems and public amenities. This position is responsible for assisting in the on-going development, maintenance and expansion of the City’s geographic information and peripheral systems. The GIS team works within the Corporate Engineering Services Division, which provides GIS, asset management and sustainability services to all City departments. The GIS Technician will play a key role in supporting these City-wide programs and projects.
