Serve Richmond’s aging adults (50+years) as our new Senior Coordinator position in Community Social Development. The city of Richmond is seeking an expert in senior outreach to act as the key city contact for relevant issues. As Senior Coordinator, you will lead the implementation of vital initiatives to ensure the community’s voice is heard.
 
Play an essential role in supporting our senior community by:

  • Providing expertise in aging to city staff, council and community partners
  • Creating and updating new policies that will support the senior demographic of Richmond
  • Researching and analyzing demographic data to determine senior needs and developing strategies to meet the aging population’s demands 
This is an ideal position for those who seek to ensure the needs of the senior community are met. If you aspire to give others a voice, then consider joining our team as Senior Coordinator. 
 
Qualified candidates will have the following:
  • Completed a University Degree or Masters in a related field of study, such as Social Planning, Planning, Gerontology or Project Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in seniors planning and health services or related areas.
