PROPERTY TAX 101
This is an informal and interactive workshop where participants will learn about the taxation process including assessments, collections, home owner grants and tax deferment.  The objective is to give participants the information they need to confidently and effectively answer questions from taxpayers.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
This course will provide staff in local government with the ability to provide excellent customer service. Many times the only opportunity we have to meet our taxpayers is during the busy “tax season”. Through a combination of practical examples and group discussion we will examine what it means to provide “excellent customer service.”  New and experienced staff will be provided the information they need to confidently and effectively provide excellent front line customer service in local government. The setting will provide a practical hand-on approach to dealing with the wide range of taxpayers and customers that we come into contact with during the year, especially at tax time.
