Road & Utility Reconstruction - 32nd Ave (37St-30Ave)

Invitation to Tender
Road and Utility Reconstruction – 32nd Avenue & 38th Street


The Owner invites tenders for:

  1. Construction of approximately 470m of roadway with curb and gutter, sidewalk, paved multi-use path.
  2. Construction of approximately 535m of 200mm diameter watermain, 43m of 250mm diameter watermain and 16m of 150mm diameter watermain for fire hydrant leads.
  3. Construction of approximately 292m of 200mm diameter sanitary main, 285m of 525mm PVC storm main and 51m of 250mm PVC storm main.
  4. Construction of approximately 116.5m of concrete block retaining wall at various heights.
  5. Installation of 7 streetlights including connections, conduits, wiring fixtures, junction boxes and related appurtenances.

Tenders shall only be accepted from tenderers who have registered through the City of Vernon's Procurement Portal (Bonfire). To register, the tenderer must log into the portal and provide contact information.

Tenders will only be accepted via the Procurement Portal and must be received prior to the Tender Closing Time and Date.

All correspondence will be through the MESSAGE function of the Bonfire Web Portal.

Site Meeting: A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting for tenderers will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 10:00am Local Time. Pre-tender meeting location is at the intersection of 32nd Ave and 38th Street in Vernon, BC.
