Rossland Seniors Centre Improvement Restoration Project
Introduction
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to invite interested parties that currently perform and/or have experience in heritage building construction/restoration services to submit a comprehensive proposal to the City of Rossland for the completion of general energy and building upgrades at/for the Rossland Seniors Centre (located at 1916 First Street, Rossland BC).
Project Details
The project consists of completing numerous building upgrades, which include:
LIGHTING UPGRADES
Replacing all existing light fixtures with new LED Lighting and occupancy sensors.
HVAC UPGRADES
Replacement of furnace with a new high-efficiency condensing furnace with a variable speed motor and burner.
FOUNDATION DRAINAGE
Install a perimeter drainage system around the building.
EXTERIOR REPAIRS
Restore Brick works where needed.
AIR CONDITIONING (AC) UPGRADE
Add AC system to tie into new furnace
VENTILATION UPGRADE
Installation of an ERV (energy recovery ventilator)
Requirements for Proposal Submission
Proponents interested in responding to this Request for Proposal are required to submit sealed bids containing the above‐noted items and marked “Rossland Seniors’ Centre Improvement Restoration Project” on or before 2:00 p.m. (PST) on August 25th, 2022 to:
