Two Temporary Positions (approximately six months duration)
Operations Department

We are looking for two keen individuals to perform manual maintenance and construction work in Public Works for approximately a six month term each to assist with seasonal work and vacation relief coverage. Under supervision of skilled staff, work may involve duties associated with routine cleaning, installation, repair and maintenance of municipal infrastructure, grass cutting and litter pick up of municipal services located within public spaces. Work will be carried out using a variety of hand tools, while exercising sound safety knowledge and practices.

We are looking for individuals able to exercise initiative and sound judgment, who possess a positive work ethic, and work well independently. If you have knowledge and experience in a parks related setting, don’t mind hard work in all kinds of weather, and are physically fit, we invite you to submit your resume.
