The Location.
Nestled on the eastern shores of spectacular Vancouver Island the Town of Lady-smith has a population of approximately 9,000 people, provides an inviting small town atmosphere and yet, is only a short commute to all the amenities of several major urban centres. The Position.
What you do will significantly help our patrons and your co-workers. The receptionist II is a key first point of contact for the Parks, Recreation and Culture department and is responsible for front counter reception, program participant registration and providing positive interaction with the community. You will be involved in everything from admissions and facility bookings to report preparation and social media updates.

The Requirements.
We want you to be successful in your role. To ensure success we’ll need you to have a grade 12 education (or equivalent) and the ability to maintain superior customer service standards.
