SKATEBOARD INSTRUCTOR

The West Vancouver Community Services Department is currently seeking a passionate Skateboard Instructor to join our highly qualified team. This position instructs and evaluates individuals learning to skateboard; from basic to more advanced skills.
The preferred candidate should have previous experience teaching skateboarding and experience working with children or running summer camps. and possess t he ability to be creative and fun while working with people. Must have excellent customer service, communication, organizational and program planning skills
The Summer Camp sessions run from July 4 – Sept 1, 2022. Skateboard instructor is expected to be available on weekdays Mon- Fri, for the entire session.
The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check. All District of West Vancouver employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of hire.
Position Status:
Non-Union – Casual
Hours of Work:
Hours and days of work vary depending upon position; up to 40 hours per week.
Rate of Pay:
$18.00 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits. This position has a pay structure that increases based on certificates and experience
