Upcoming Events

2024 will see the BC Fire Expo and FCABC Conference and Education Summit in Kamloops, BC from June 2-6. The BC Fire Expo will be at the Sandman Centre and the Opening Ceremonies, Banquet and Education will be at Thompson Rivers University. There is no host hotel for 2024 as Kamloops does not have one hotel that can accommodate all of our delegates, but we have negotiated special rates at the Sandman Signature, Delta/Marriott and Best Western (Columbia St) hotels.

We are making some changes for 2024:

• We are exploring the possibility of 9 holes of golf on Saturday evening with a later dinner.

• The BC Fire Expo will open at noon instead of 11am at the request of the trades that needed more time for setup, but still close at 7pm with dinner provided. Monday remains the same with the show opening at 9am and closing at 3pm.

• There will be NO Sunrise Sessions this year, instead we will be offering a “working breakfast” from Tuesday to Thursday.

• There will be longer Network Breaks (except Thursday morning) and longer lunch breaks to give you more opportunity to network.

• We are also looking into a Tuesday after sessions Networking Social in the Den at TRU.
