RFP-2024-18 – PRV #7 Replacement

Summary Details:
The District invites proposals for the following:

• Replace a below-ground PRV station (PRV #7) with an above-ground PRV station including new piping and equipment.
• Below-ground PRV to be decommissioned and parts either salvaged or scrapped. Optionally, the District may negotiate additional work related to PRV #8.

The RFP documents set out:

1. The details of the goods or services that the District is seeking, as further described in Section 2 - Deliverables;

2. The process for submission, evaluation and award of the Agreement;

3. The proposed terms and conditions of the Agreement; and

4. The forms which outline the information a Proponent should submit in their Proposal.

Submission of Proposals
To be considered, Proposals must be submitted via BC Bid’s Supplier “e-Bidding” submission functionality or by email in accordance with the instructions in the RFP.

Proposals must be received no later than the RFP Closing Date and Time. It is solely the responsibility of the Proponent to ensure that the Proposal is received on time. There will be no public opening.

Term of Engagement:
Substantial Performance for all Work associated with PRV #7 is to be achieved no later than September 30, 2024. Optional work associated with PRV #8, if awarded, is to be completed in fall 2024/spring 2025.

With all optional work, this procurement may be subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Chapter Five) and the New West Partnership Trade Agreement. The District is subject to the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (Chapter Nineteen); however, this procurement will not be within the scope of that agreement.
