Summary Details:
The District is seeking proposals for the provision of external audit services. As part of the services, the external auditor will examine the financial records, systems and controls of the District in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards and the provisions of the Local Government Act and Community Charter, and provide written audit reports with an audit opinion on the Financial Statements.

The RFP documents set out:

1. The details of the goods or services that the District is seeking, as further described in Section 2 - Deliverables;

2. The process for submission, evaluation and award of the Agreement;

3. The proposed terms and conditions of the Agreement; and

4. The forms which outline the information a Proponent should submit in their Proposal.

 
Submission of Proposals
To be considered, Proposals must be submitted via BC Bid’s Supplier “e-Bidding” submission functionality or by email in accordance with the instructions in the RFP.

Proposals must be received no later than the RFP Closing Date and Time. It is solely the responsibility of the Proponent to ensure that the Proposal is received on time. There will be no public opening.
 
Term of Engagement:
The Agreement shall be valid for a period of five (5) years.

This procurement is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Chapter Five). The District is subject to the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (Chapter Nineteen); however, this procurement will not be within the scope of that agreement.
