Maintenance Worker, Aquatic
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Regional District of Nanaimo is seeking a Permanent Full-time Aquatic Maintenance Worker. This position contributes to the effective operation of the Recreation Department through the maintenance, cleaning and preparation of the Ravensong Aquatic Centre (RAC).
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications include a high school diploma, Pool Operators Level 1 Certificate, Building Maintenance Course plus one (1) to three (3) years of prior job-related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
POSITION DETAILS
This is a permanent full-time (40 hours per week) Union position. The (2024) rate of pay for the position is $31.26 to $32.90 per hour. The position offers an attractive benefits package as provided within the collective agreement between the Regional District of Nanaimo and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 401.
