Water Technician 3 or 4

The District of Summerland is accepting applications for a full-time Water Technician 3 or 4 position. The work involves assisting in the operation, maintenance, and administration of the District’s water systems, watersheds, treatment facilities, and associated appurtenances.
Required Qualifications
- EOCP certification in Water Treatment at EOCP Level 3 or 4.
- Completion of an accredited post-secondary program in Water/Wastewater Technology (or equivalent), plus related municipal experience and training in water treatment is preferred.
- A valid B.C. Driver’s Licence – Class 5.

This is a CUPE full-time position that provides a competitive benefits package and pension. The pay will reflect the level of EOCP certification as per the CUPE Agreement: Level 3 - $37.24, Level 4 - $42.00.
