The West Vancouver Community Services Department has immediate openings for casual Group Fitness Instructors. The District of West Vancouver offers a wide range of health & fitness activities including a dynamic and diverse Group Fitness Schedule at the West Vancouver Community Centre and the Gleneagles Community Centre.  

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Group Fitness Instructors who can teach a variety of class formats (HIIT, Choreographed Cardio, Cycle, Strength Training, Ball, Bosu, Cardio Box, Boot Camp, Circuit, Stretch, Youth, Seniors etc.)

The successful candidate will possess current BCRPA Group Fitness Certification or equivalent, current First Aid and CPR, and experience teaching a variety of class formats. Weekend and evening availability would be considered assets. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to demonstrate their teaching skills. Preference will be given to candidates who can work at both facilities.

The successful candidate is required to supply a police information check with vulnerable sector and a copy of their credentials.

Non-Union – Casual

Hours and days of work may vary.

Rate of Pay:
$20-$38 based on experience and qualifications.
