City Protection Officer
If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career in Risk Management, we are looking for another City Protection Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in providing direct security support to frontline staff, protecting City assets, responding to situations to ensure workplace safety, conducting investigations and reports, and supporting the Kelowna Security Operations Centre (KSOC). Our City Protection Officers also liaise with appropriate security, bylaw and police personnel, as well as fostering relationships with other external partners and community groups.
Qualifications
- Advanced Security Training (AST), or equivalent law enforcement or military training
- High School Graduation
- Security Patrol and Investigative experience
- BC Driver’s License – Class 5
- This role is conditional upon obtaining an Enhanced Security Clearance
- Shift work – early start including weekends (Tuesday to Sunday)
