Abstract:
In early 2020, TWN and Metro Vancouver signed a cooperation agreement for təmtəmíxwtən/Belcarra Regional Park, formalizing the “ongoing collaboration” between the two parties to determine how they can “work together to protect, preserve and enhance the regional park for the benefit of present and future generations.” From June to September, TWN members and parks staff met once a week for a series of activities aimed at sharing knowledge, including park patrols, public education and wildlife and environmental monitoring projects.
