This guidebook aims to support local governments with th e first of the six identified key opportunities: to better integrate natural asset management into asset management policies, plans and programs. Defining levels of service is a key element of this. Levels of service define the expected performance of asse ts and represent a commitment of a local government that will inform asset management and financial plans.
