Abstract:
This short discussion paper presents a range of management actions that can be taken to support the health and sustainability of watersheds across BC. It is part of a larger series aimed at educating British Columbians on the critical role healthy watersheds play in the sustainability of province’s ecosystems, communities and economy.

Useful to those working at the watershed scale, this paper introduces a spectrum of management actions in outline format. It includes case study discussions and bulleted lists on: monitoring water quality and quantity, developing plans, policies and governance options, administering permits and regulations, designing conservation and restoration projects, and delivering education, outreach, and capacity building exercises.
