The Agriculture Water Infrastructure Program (AWP) aims to help the agricultural sector increase adoption of efficient irrigation infrastructure and improve agricultural water supply and management in B.C. Through this program, the province seeks to see improvements to stream flows, fish populations and an increased and more sustainable food production. The funding is designated for producer and community projects, such as dam rehabilitation, water storage and water management systems, and assessments, engineering studies and plans.
Eligibility
Stream 2: Community Projects
IAF is hosting a webinar on July 10, 2024 at 12 PM. Register here- July 3, 2024: Expression of interest open
- July 24, 2024: Expression of interest close at 4 PM
- Invitation to Apply: IAF estimates invitations to apply will be sent out in September 2024.
Stream 3: Assessments, Engineering Studies or Plans
- May 30, 2024: Application drafts open, you may begin drafting your application.
- June 20, 2024: Application submissions open, submit your application starting at 9AM. Applications will remain open until funding is committed.
