Skateboard Instructor

The West Vancouver Community Services Department is currently seeking a passionate Skateboard Instructor to join our summer camp leader team. This position instructs and evaluates individuals learning to skateboard; from basic to more advanced skills.
The preferred candidate should have previous experience teaching skateboarding and experience working with children or running summer camps.and possess the ability to be creative and fun while working with people. Must have excellent customer service, communication, organizational and program planning skills
The Summer Camp sessions run during the daytime from July 2 – August 30, 2024
The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check.
Position Status:
Non-Union – Casual
Hours of Work:
Hours and days of work vary depending upon position; up to 40 hours per week.
Rate of Pay:
$22.00 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits.
This position has a pay structure that increases based on education and experience.
