APWA Public Fleet Management Certificate (Virtual)

Learn from one of the Canadian experts who is actively involved in the APWA’s fleet programs. This is an eight-hour program designed for both existing fleet managers and new fleet managers (or those who aspire to become fleet managers). The program will provide an overview of the many skills and areas of knowledge fleet managers need to be successful - including organization structures, communication, procurement, purchasing, finance, and fleet operations.

After completing this course, participants will be better able to:
1. Describe the role of a fleet manager and determine the benefits of enhanced communication with partners and fleet customers.
2. Recall basic finance and technology issues related to fleet management and identify global issues and their impact on fleet management.
3. Explain common industry best practices.

This program will blend the best of live face-to-face interaction with the ease and convenience of online learning. The virtual program will be held over two days for 4 hours per day on Monday June 10th and Tuesday June 11th 2024 from 8am–12pm both days. A short quiz will be administered at the end of the second day and a certificate of completion will be delivered to those that pass the quiz successfully.

REGISTRATION COSTS: $200 for PWABC members, $250 for non-members.
